    I love these things and have a number around the house, inside and out. The only downside is that the brighter ones (15W and up) run hot as a pistol. That mtters little since they are only on for 15 seconds as you walk by. it is a consideration if you buy the non-PIR type. In that case you should try one to see if the heat will be a problem. These only come on dusk to dawn, though not all sellers mention that in their listings.
